The light of day came down through the space that had been a roof of solid metal only seconds before, forcing Tifa to squint as she continued to hold her breath against the possibility of fresh air flooding into the execution chamber. She thought she could see the silhouette of the Weapon against the sky, but she could not be certain ... until she heard a whisper inside her head, as if next to her ear: Go. Who – ? The monster towering above her? Her oxygen-starved brain? Impossible to say, but she had to get moving, had to keep herself alive ....
