PROMPT #54 - COSTA DEL SOL

This week's prompt is #54 - Costa del Sol
It's called the Coast of the Sun, and it certainly lives up to its name. With white sand beaches, swaying palm trees and a general relaxed atmosphere, this is the vacation destination for ecoterrorist rebels, corporate overlords and mad scientists alike. This week, take a break from cold and damp with surf, sunbathing, and maybe a spot of shopping for vacation homes. ;)
How was the town of Costa del Sol founded? Are its inhabitants really as easygoing as they seem? What's the local drink specialty? How do a couple of Nibel kids like Cloud and Tifa handle all that sun - do they tan or burn? Is Yuffie taking a whack at a chilled watermelon with her shuriken? Is beach umbrella jousting a popular sport nowadays? Are locals on the lookout for a brand-new local cryptid - a bear wearing a marshmallow? Has anyone seen a man in a blackcape two-piece?
