The Road of Self-Discovery (Humility)

Title: The Road of Self-Discovery
Characters/Pairings: Cloud
Team: Turks
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Series: post-game, pre-Advent Children
Author's Notes: Honestly, I think Cloud being emo is like the Planet running a fever; symptom of Bad Things.

Cloud enjoyed the long hours between stops, running messages town to town. It meant, among other things, not having to hang around and answer questions about himself, or Sephiroth, or Meteor. Or the crater where they'd all converged.

Most people didn't understand. He hadn't, in the end, fought Sephiroth to save the world, or be a hero, or any of that. He'd just wanted his own mind back, in his own body, and the chance to find out ...who he was, really, when not trying to live up to outside standards.

Reeve seemed to be the only one that understood.

Indeed. But I have Cloud who isn't emo by nature. So I tend to agree. :)

Oh, nice. I love how you've included Reeve.

I also happen to be quite fond of fic which takes place between the OG ending and AC. There's a lot to explore, there.

Oh, Cloud. I can understand his perspective in this perfectly, having done something like that and not really wanting to explain it to everyone because he knows they won't understand his reasons, and I like it. Very nice. ^^
