Title: Drown
Characters: Aeris and ?
Team: SOLDIER
Word Count: 100
Author's Notes: No, I don't know who that is at the end.
When she first died, there was no time to react to her own death. There was only the flood.
They had been trying to talk to her for so long, since the Calamity's son first started to embrace his heritage.
With the barricade of mortal flesh and human blood left behind, she was swamped. Their memories, remembrances, things she couldn't understand, washed over her, drowning her sense of self.
It was one of her own memories that saved her.
Protective arms and a warm smile.
Sheltered from the storm of memories, Aeris took a breath.
Now, she could call Holy.
Title: Goddess
Characters: Minerva
Team: SOLDIER
Word Count: 100
Author's Notes: *cackles*
Before this world, there was a war between the gods. One so great that almost all were killed.
She remembered that war, so long in the past that stars had been born and died since then. She was young, spared only because she was a child.
But she does remember.
She remembered that those who had human warriors fared the best. Remembered, and prepared.
She watched as one of her chosen collected his student. One who had defeated her avatar. Rare, that level.
Eventually, the blond he fell protecting would come as well.
Minerva smiled.
Only the best for her.
