This week's prompt is #59 - Chocobos
Chocobos have been a reliable part of every Final Fantasy game since its inception, and in VII these birds of burden are everywhere: pulling carts, running races, and hauling your ass away from giant snakes. You can ride them to get places quickly and avoid monsters; you can race with them; you can breed them - and when you do, some interesting opportunities open up.
This week, let's talk chocobo talk. What even are these weird birds? How did they evolve? If blue lets you run on rivers and green lets you cross mountains, what do the pink, white or purple ones do? Do they like to be petted or are they strictly hands-off? How are they trained? Does Cloud have a special affinity for them, or is that just the hair? ;)
