Title: Obsessions Pay Quite Well
Characters/Pairings: Cissnei, Reno. A side of shippy Cissnei/unmentionned. (Guess who! No, it's not Zack.)
Team: TURKS!
Rating: PG for stalker!Cissnei, blackmail, and Reno. Mental images of what might be on the photos are unrated. =P
Word Count: 100
Series: Crisis Core.
Author's Notes: Reno is totally breaking into all of his co-workers' appartments like, all the time. Might write about the other occurences eventually.
BTW... I suck at writing short things. Had to cut all the fun part again. ='(

Photos. Everywhere. Drawers, walls, boxes under her bed.
Reno can't find an inch of Cissnei's bedroom that isn't covered in them.
So, of course, when she comes back from her meeting that night, Reno's sprawled on her couch, feet proped up on her coffee table. Typical Reno.

A box of pictures under her nose.
Eyes widen. Turk-ish panic.

"So, Cissy, how you gonna pay for this to stay 'tween you and me?"

A look at the box. A wince.

"How much?"
"Aww, you really think that of me? I don't want no money, yo!"

That grin...
Shiva. She's doomed.

Title: Betrayal After Betrayal
Characters/Pairings: Sephiroth, Jenova. No pairings (thankfully!)
Team: Turks.
Rating: PG for almost-death and evil plans.
Wordcount: 100
Notes: Sephy is just as much of a backstabbing bastard as Jenova, he just didn't manage to get his way. Also, I think it can take place at any of Sephiroth's 'deaths', considering he keeps coming back, but as I wrote it I was thinking of when he got thrown into the Nibelheim mako reactor.

Death didn't bother Sephiroth nearly as much as the events that lead to it.
Stripped of friends and dignity — betrayal after betrayal, the General once admired and feared by many was now to die a forgettable death.

"Not at all, son," that voice resonated within his core. "If only you'll come to me..."

She offered him survival. This travesty of a life he'd tasted just enough before, controlled by Her will...
Ignoring protests from the Lifestream, he reached for Jenova's strength, and moved a broken arm.
He would live.
And once he found her, She would die.

"I'm coming, Mother."

Title: Killed In Action
Characters/Pairings: Cissnei, mentions of Zack. No pairings.
Team: Turks.
Rating: PG for character death (kind of obvious) and implied suicidal thoughts.
Wordcount: 100
Series: Crisis Core

Having to write a report on Zack's death made Cissnei's skin crawl. Tseng chose quite the disgusting way to remind her of their organization's first principle.
Turks have no friends.

Maybe, if she didn't want to be a Turk, it didn't apply anymore; So they hadn't killed Zack Fair... But how many people had they — she — killed?
Perhaps death would help her...
Paying her respects to Zack's remains, Cissnei solemnly headed towards her chopper.

A week later in Gongaga, she was oddly grinning at the obituary segment of the ShinRa news.
Turk - Second Rank
Killed In Action

It worked.

Title: Kick-Ass Weapons
Characters/Pairings: Tifa, Yuffie. No pairings.
Team: Turks
Rating: Huh... PG, maybe? I don't know. Some language, I guess.
Word Count: 100
Author's Notes: Grrrrr... Yuffie is too verbose for drabbles, and the edited version doesn't make sense anymore. Also, I'm not at all sure how language is supposed to affect a rating, is this okay?

"Hey, why'd ya choose martial arts? I mean, I got my shuriken 'cause it's the greatest thing, and I'm the greatest ninja... It fits, ya know?"

, she knew; Yuffie reminded her every day.

"I mean, seriously... You'd think a kick-ass girl like ya'd have a kick-ass weapon too!"

Kick-ass? Well, she did know a few things about such weapons.
And their wielders.
That she didn't like.
And yet Tifa smiled.

"Guess I already knew I didn't need a gigantic sword to kick ass, huh?"

Maybe it wasn't the exact truth, but it shut her up. And it sounded better, too.

Title: Those Gigantic Swords
Characters/Pairings: Tifa. Mentions of Sephiroth, Cloud and Master Zangan. No pairings.
Team: Turks
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Author's Notes: Follows up on the other one. As for Tifa, I think she's a little too affected by those swords. Can't say I blame her, though.

Unfortunately, Yuffie's innocent questioning reminded her of then.
Of awaking outside the reactor with blood — not hers — staining her clothes, wondering which one she'd hallucinated, Cloud or the silver-haired demon with the terrible sword.
Of screaming until a hand reached out to her, led her away from the ruins. Of wishing she hadn't been tossed aside, she'd held her own.

"I could teach you." He'd taken out a katana.
Tifa remembered blanching, and Zangan smiling: "Maybe you'd prefer another technique?"

She hadn't chosen, but she preferred how she'd said it. And maybe he'd known she didn't need those gigantic swords.
