Title: Unlikely Allies
Characters: Reeve, Scarlet
Team: SOLDIER
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Of all the executives, it was Reeve and Scarlet that got along best. Oh, she was still a bitch and he still was willing to use his spies on her, but that was just they way they were.
They were both builders, even if -what- they built was wildly different. But it was close enough that when one waxed on about some subject, the other could at least follow along.
Which was why, way too late, more than a bit tipsy, they were trying to figure out what was causing Scarlet’s project to malfunction.
Reeve wasn’t happy they shot Cait.
Title: Late Watch
Characters: Cloud, Zack
Team: SOLDIER
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Cloud hated this watch. Dead of the night in the middle of the Shin-Ra building. At least if he was outside, he could people watch. Or talk to the others in the lobby.
But, no. He was stationed outside of Director Lazard’s office. Why, he didn’t know, but it was -boring.-
“Now that is a not-happy face.”
Cloud jumped a bit, looking down the hall. Okay, so he had been spacing out. Not like anyone -sane- was out at this hour if they didn’t have to be.
“Hey, Zack.”
Not that Zack fit any measure of sane. Not at all.
Title: Report
Characters: Tseng
Team: SOLDIER
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Two in the morning.
That was when Tseng received the message that there had been an incident in the Nibelheim lab. Two specimens had escaped, and units were being mobilized to recapture. Secondary orders were to terminate if recapture was impossible.
Tseng knew exactly who said specimens were.
Pulling his phone, he pressed a button. He had never had reason to push this button before.
“Fair and Strife are loose. All personal return to the Tower.”
Releasing the button, the message went out to all other phones in the system. Being a Turk meant nice toys.
Aeris would be happy.
