AVALANCHE maintained a small library of information about everything pertaining to the Planet and what Shinra did to it on a daily basis, and the library consisted of everything from newspaper clippings ... to computer printouts ... to disks full of odds and ends that Jessie had swiped from one database or another. Tifa read through it in her down time, but she did not need any of the specifics to understand the difference between Mako and the Lifestream: The former, distilled from the latter, was like the black smoke from burning oil. It promised energy, but it contained poison.
