A/N - this is a pokemon crossover, hope this is okay.

“Mother” he moans, an age old plea. She echoes it; her face over his, her deepest foundations make his mask.

“Mother.” He gasps and the sound sinks deep into her skull.

Sephiroth is lonely, he crouches, beastlike, in his cave. As with all of his kind he misses Mother – he grasps her forearm, uses it as his best weapon. The skin wore away so quickly; all that is left of her is pure white bone. 

Rocket took her away. Hojo, they named their leader. Sephiroth limps past the cave entrance holding Mother aloft. Retribution will come. Jenova’s will be done.

Cubone!Sephiroth

*cannot breathe for laughing*

I mean, yes, totally creepy story and obsessive!Sephiroth does creepy best. But then I got to the end and imagined a little Cubone!Sephiroth with silver hair under the skull and a little coat and it all fell apart.

On the other hand, really damn creepy. I always found the concept of cubone to be pretty disturbing. I mean, the mother is always dead for every cubone. That doesn't bode well for the species as a whole.
