Men aren't allowed in the dressing room, obviously, but there's something about this guy - wiry muscles, glowy eyes and all - that just seems so weirdly vulnerable. Like he's looking for something to steady himself. He watches me apply my lipstick, and then shyly asks if I can do him too. I give him a smile and offer him my chair.
Powders and tints work their magic as I coax something soft and feminine out of the sharp angles of his face. "You're lovely," I tell him when I'm done, and he blinks in awe at the woman in the mirror.
