Change of modship

I am interrupting the middle this regular broadcast to make an announcement regarding community modship.

I started this community in what seems like ages ago back on InsaneJournal. From there, I moved it here and kept it rolling. But now, it is time for me to move on and pass the torch to someone who might be able to do better for the community than me.

You see, I have way too much on my plate at this time. I have just moved to Hawaii to attend graduate school. It is difficult because I am away from my wife, the courses are time intensive and work intensive, and I am adjusting to a new environment. Eight weeks in and I am swamped.

This was not really an unforeseen conflict. Before I left home, I was already experiencing stress in my life and so I took on a co-mod. raisedbymoogles is an amazing individual that really cares about the fandom this community represents. I have no problems leaving you in their capable care.

So, from today on, raisedbymoogles will be the sole mod of the community, until and unless they decide to take on a co-mod.

While I'm sorry to hear you're moving on, I think you're leaving the comm (and the challenge it represents) in good hands, and I wish you all the best for your future. Maybe one day you'll have the time and energy for doing this sort of stuff again, but until that day, I'll just say a sincere "thank you so much!" for all the work and effort you have been putting in.

Take care of yourself in the meantime. I'll look forward to seeing you again in the future.
