ffvii_100AVALANCHE gave their library cards a workout this week, coming away with 20 points and this week's trophy! Shinra and the Turks both owe far too much in fines to set foot in the building. ;)
This week's prompt is #80 - City of the Ancients.
Only ruins remain of what once must have been a beautiful, thriving settlement, seemingly the only one left behind by the nomadic Cetra. This week, imagine what life in this city must have been like, or explore it anew with an archaeologist's perspective.
Who built the city, and how? Are those shell-like houses natural or artificial? Where did they get their food - was the landscape different all those thousands of years ago? Was it depopulated gradually or all at once due to the Crisis? Was Aerith the first person to set foot in it since it was abandoned? If so, what did she find there?
Remember, you can explore the City of the Ancients through the eyes of canon characters or OCs. But as always, you only get 100 words.
