This week's prompt is #105 - Tradition
Tradition is a tricky thing. The concept is endemic to nearly all cultures, though there is no one tradition that all cultures share; it can be shaped by everything from climate to history to pure happenstance; it can be invented whole cloth over a drunken weekend or lost in centuries of time. It can bind people together or tear them apart. This week, embrace tradition or make up your own!
Are Cloud and Tifa jonesing for some of that traditional holiday cuisine from their hometown? Does Avalanche have a good-luck ritual before missions? How are birthdays celebrated in Wutai or Kalm or Costa del Sol? Do certain flowers have traditional significance in Midgar? Is Zack teaching Sephiroth about that time-honored tradition, the drinking game - or is this a hazing ritual?
Try not to get that song from Fiddler on the Roof stuck in your head, and remember, you only have 100 words!
