Title: Stoic
Characters/Pairings: Tifa, Zangan
Team: Avalanche
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Series: Final Fantasy VII OGC
Author's Notes: A practicing stoic would say that disappointment and anger come from a change in what's expected. So I guess one shouldn't feel any anger or disappointment at all if one should "expect the unexpected."

Tifa used to cry over her hurts. When Zangan decided that she can move on from learning the forms to applying them, she was excited because she wanted to move like flowing water with her body, to feel the connection of two people moving as one just as he described the essence of chi to her.

Instead she got a bloody nose.

Her father swore and blustered hot air around them, but Zangan took her aside and said that she shouldn’t have been disappointed over what warriors expected and knew.

So she learned to not feel the hurts so much.
