“Your reality is a lie,” the man in the black coat said.
“What are you saying?” Cloud resisted the urge to clutch his head.
“There is no meaning in your memories, Cloud,” the man, Sephiroth, said. “They are an illusion. But I can show you reality.”
He removed a small box from a hidden pocket in his coat and emptied its contents into his hands. “What will it be, Cloud? Will you come with me and see how deep the rabbit hole goes?”
He put his hands out for Cloud to see. There were two pills, one blue, one red.
